Proven and Positive Dog Training Programs
There’s no better companion than a dog—especially when they’re well-behaved. But dogs don’t automatically know all the skills and obedience they need to thrive as a member of the family. That’s where excellent dog training and obedience training come in, and Elevation Pet Resort is here to help. Our two dynamic, proven dog training options are proven to help dogs succeed in their goals.
Boarding Academy: This option is ideal for busy pet parents looking for immersive dog training for their furry companions. During a stay at our pet resort, your dog will receive daily, customized dog training sessions. This option allows for the most focused and consistent training, ensuring rapid progress and lasting results. Additionally, each stay includes daily email updates with pictures and an exit session with Julia to discuss your dog’s progress and techniques to maintain their newfound skills. For longer dog training programs, virtual update sessions are also included to ensure you know how your dog is progressing.
Day Academy: If you prefer a more flexible approach, our Day Academy might be the perfect dog training fit. Your dog will spend the day with us, participating in customized training sessions tailored to their needs, and then return home in the evening. This option is great for pet parents with busy schedules who still want their dogs to receive quality dog training and socialization. Day Academy packages also include daily email updates with pictures and an in-person update session every 5th hour of training to help you understand the training principles and continue the learning at home. Day Academy is available in 5 and 10 day packages. Have a very active dog? We can add on daycare services such as pack play or individual exercise and enrichment activities.
Dog Training Levels
Pet Manners and Obedience Training
- Foundations of Communication: This is our starting course, focusing on basic pet skills and fundamental understanding of dog behavior and learning.
- Primary Pet Skills 101: Building upon the foundational skills, this level introduces more advanced commands and behaviors in moderate distractions.
- Intermediate Pet Skills 202: Further advancing your dog’s skills in increasingly distracting environments and situations, with a focus on advanced calming techniques.
Dogs are evaluated after each 5 hours of training and can progress at their own pace through the levels. For example, if your pup is excelling at some of the skills, they can progress in those and keep building on the skills that still need work. For owners and dogs with previous training experience, we will work with you to start your pup at the appropriate level.
