Day Camp: Off–Leash Play Groups
Day Camp consists of a fun, safe, stimulating, off-leash experience for dogs during the day while owners are busy with work or family. Team members (counselors) are supervising the groups constantly. Using canine leadership skills and positive reinforcement, our counselors ensure dogs interact appropriately.
We value the experience of your dog and place a high priority on keeping playgroups safe and enjoyable for all participants. Before attending off-leash day camp, your dog will undergo a thorough evaluation process to make sure Day Camp is appropriate and enjoyable for them. This process is individualized based on your dogs personality, energy level, and needs. We currently have a wait list for evaluations. If you are interested in Day Camp for your dog. Please fill out the Welcome Form to be added to our evaluation wait list. A team member will review it and contact you with information on the evaluation and next available evaluation appointment.

What your pet(s)’ day will look like:
- Day Camp: Your dog will enjoy off-leash free play most of the day. Counselors are constantly in the same room with the day campers to monitor play and safety. Counselors also interact with dogs to practice group obedience such as group sits, follow-the-leader, recall, and other games. We also incorporate nap times into our Day Camp schedule. Exhaustion is not a measure of our success. Yes, you can expect your dog to be ‘worn out’ at the end of a Day Camp visit, but total exhaustion is not our goal. When dogs get overtired accidents and fights are more likely to occur (think of children in preschool, without naps the children would become very cranky, irritable, and do not have a good time). Dogs naturally have a play-nap rhythm in their days, providing nap times mirrors this rhythm and promotes good mental health. Nap times also allow for your dog to safely have a midday meal or treat, it’s hard work to be a dog! Therefore, we incorporate nap times into our facility’s Day Camp daily schedule. Typically nap times are from 10-11 am and 2-3 pm. These times may vary day to day as needed depending on the schedule and energy level of dogs in Day Camp for that day.
- Day Retreat: Your dog will stay in an area they find comfortable. This may be in one of our suites (if available), in our office, or in a large crate. We get to know your dog to find the best fit for them. The base price of a Day Retreat includes 2 walks. Other activities can be added on to give your dog a personalized and fun-filled day!
Camper Requirements and General Policies:
- Daycare participants must be ~6 months of age (the exact minimum age is evaluated on an individual basis and depends upon the social maturity of the dog) or older.
- Vaccines requirements: Rabies (if 16 weeks of age or older), current on veterinary recommended Distemper and Bordetella vaccinations (vaccines must be current as of 2 weeks prior to arrival for boarding and proof of vaccination provided at the time of reservation)
- Pets over nine months of age are required to be spayed or neutered.
- We highly recommend your pet(s) be on a monthly heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative while attending Elevation Pet Resort.
- Day Retreat participants must not behave aggressively towards people and not overtly aggressive towards other dogs. Even when not participating in Day Camp, Day Retreat dogs may see other dogs or be led on leashes near other dogs.
- Day Camp participants must complete an off-leash play evaluation that consists of an off-leash play questionnaire followed by an evaluation appointment for qualifying dogs.
- Day Camp, for qualifying dogs, can be added to any suite that does not include Day Camp for $15 per dog.
- Elevation Pet Resort will obtain medical treatment for a daycare participant if it appears that he/she is ill, injured, or exhibits any other behavior that would reasonably suggest that the camper may need medical treatment. Owners are fully responsible for the cost of any such medical treatment and for the cost of any transportation for the purposes of such treatment. Elevation Pet Resort will attempt contact with the Owner or Owner’s Agent prior to veterinary care but, in the event of an urgent emergency, contact may not occur until after your pet has received medical attention.

- Day Retreat: Comfy cots and Fleece Blanket (bed upgrades are available)
- Day Camp: Cots are available in the playrooms if campers want to rest on their own.

(Pill Pockets and other treats are available in the lobby for purchase). Other medication administration fees are assessed on an individual basis. At this time, we are not able to accommodate pets requiring daily injections, such as insulin, but may be able to accommodate pets requiring periodic injections, such as Adequan or Vitamin B. What You May Bring:
- Please have your dog leashed when entering the building. For safety, all dogs staying at Elevation Pet Resort ‘stay naked,’ but all dogs outside of the off-leash play area must be leashed at all times. Make sure the collar or harness fits to prevent your dog from slipping out of the collar and getting away from you or a team member. When arriving for a stay, a team member will replace your collar/harness/leash (gear) with a slip lead. Team members do not keep a pet’s gear, but we do have a self-serve leash parking station where you may store your pet’s gear. Elevation Pet Resort and its team members are not responsible for lost or stolen items from the self-serve leash parking.
- The pet’s own treats and food from home may be brought for naptimes (please bring just enough food/treats for the day). Treats are also available for purchase in the lobby. Treat filled Kong’s or other enrichment toy add-ons are available for purchase as well.
- Day Retreat: You can bring a small blanket or piece of clothing that smells like home, but we are unable to accommodate large blankets or dog beds (If your pet has a special requirement, please speak with a team member).
- Day Retreat: Up to 2 toys or chews (chews must not be a choking hazard and all items must fit into our boarding storage bins).
